This is 7 days Northern Tanzania Adventure Tour that takes in Tanzania’s most famous parks, Tarangire National Park, Ngorongoro Crater, Serengeti National Park and Lake Manyara National Park. Opportunities for great wildlife sightings and spectacular scenery abound!
Day 1: Arusha
Arrival in Tanzania, Kilimanjaro International Airport/Arusha Airport, meet and greet with our driver/guide. You will be driven to your booked accommodation at Arusha City.
Day 2: Tarangire National Park
Our tour will start just after the breakfast, you will drive to Tarangire National Park. This beautiful park attracts great herds of game year-round due to the Tarangire River always having water for the animals to drink. In this park you can find varied species from Oryx to Kudu, Gerenuk to Klipspringer, and of course the Cats. Also found here are huge numbers of huge elephants, and of course, the rather big Giraffe, and the immense Baobab Trees. Enjoy the game drives, picnic lunch, more game drives. In the afternoon transfer to your accommodation outside the park or inside the park for dinner and overnight: Full board
Day 3: Lake Manyara National Park
After breakfast, drive to Lake Manyara National Park. Lake Manyara is famous for the tree-climbing lions found lazing on branches of acacia trees. The park also features large concentrations of elephant and buffalo. Over 380 species of birds have been recorded included the immense Silvery Cheeked Hornbill, one of the largest breed, Crested Guinea Fowl, found deep in the forest. Many hippos reside in the water, as do thousands of flamingo and other water birds. This park changes every time you are there. The game is always wonderful inside the park and the park itself seems to take on different faces as seasons change. Enjoy the game drives, picnic lunch overlooking the lake, leave park, drive to Karatu town to your accommodation for dinner and overnight: Full board
Day 4 : Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, The tour guide drives you north towards the Serengeti, stopping on the way at Olduvai Gorge, the place where so many discoveries of Hominoid have been found by the Leakey family over the years. There is a small museum on-site. The Serengeti is renowned as the Greatest Show on Earth, and your time here will be spent exploring this magnificent park. It seems endless and you will be impressed by the constantly changing landscape. From plains to hills to the giant outcrop of granite, called Kopjes, this park is considered to many as the most bountiful game reserve in the world. Two days to enjoy and explore the Serengeti Plains. Your home for two nights in one of the Serengeti’s campsite : Full board
Day 5: Serengeti National Park
Early morning game drive in Serengeti National Park, breakfast in the bush, more game drives, picnic lunch, continue with game view. Return to the Camp in serengeti for dinner and overnight: Full board
Day 6: Ngorongoro Conservation Area
After breakfast, you will head back through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, towards your final destination in the bush. Arrive for dinner and overnight at the lodge : Full board
Day 7: Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha City / Kilimanjaro International Airport
Descend into the crater. The largest Caldera in the world (imploded volcano with an intact rim) The rim at 7,200’ overlooks the Crater floor below that supports more than 20,000 mammals year-round – from Black Rhino to herds of Buffalo and many Big Cats. In the afternoon ascend, drive to Arusha Airport/ Kilimanjaro International Airport or to the hotel
